November 2013

What a month it has been here at the Cotswold Tailor:

Tailoring

Orders for tailoring this month have been through the roof, so much so for the first time ever we have temporarily stopped taking orders until the New Year. We will continually add to our tailoring team in the next few months to ensure that we can keep up with the growing demand, whilst still ensuring the luxury quality, our clients have come accustomed to.  Particular favorites this month have been, tailored smoking jackets, using Scabals luxury velvet range & of course the tailored tweed jacket, perfect for the colder winter weather.

New Products:

This month has been particularly exciting seeing the introduction of several new exclusive Cotswold Tailor, locally made product ranges. These ranges include our new formal black and brown leather belts. Hand-carved and dyed for The Cotswold Tailor, walking distance from our Shipston-On-Stour shop. Also next week we will be offering a range of tweed cushions and tweed stockings, handmade in-house, providing perfect original gifts this Christmas. I am also pleased to say that we now have our Midnight five pocket, jean cut, moleskin's back in stock. By far our best selling trouser, these moleskin's are an ideal addition to the wardrobe, as they look great both worn formerly with one of our Italian shirts, say for a Christmas works party, or casually with a tweed jacket or lambswool sweater to help keep out the cold.

What can you look forward to in December?

  • We are in the process of teaming up with a new leather supplier, enabling us to offer an even bigger range of luxury leather holdalls, weekend bags and luggage.
  • Our Christmas Cotswold Tailor gift cards will be available.
  • The tweed cushions and stockings will be available in both shops
  • We will be attending the Wheatsheaf Inn (Northleach) Christmas market
  • Saturday 30th November is the Christmas light switch on in Woodstock, we will be open until 19:30 for late night shopping!
  • Victorian evening in Shipston-On-Stour 6th December, our Shipston store will be staying open late to join in the festivities.
